For some time now I’ve been thinking about this strange dichotomy that has recently developed between the “spiritual” and “religious”. My thoughts are not fully formed on this at the moment except to say I feel that rejecting either out of hand may miss the point altogether. Perhaps there is something else we hunger for that is difficult to articulate and, at the moment, for lack of a better word, I’m calling it faith.

So, until I get better words in my head and get them all in a row, have a read here.  While I do not agree with every thing written in this post, I do find it thoughtful, honest and faithful. And I believe somewhere in there lies the difference which I am trying to tease out.
